The Boy Who Cried Blood

We've all heard of the boy who cried wolf, but have you heard of the boy who cried blood?

Unlike the wolf-boy story, this is no object lesson in morality. 17 year old Calvino Inman suffers from a rare condition that causes him to weep blood from his eyes at various times during the day.

Calvino is the subject of a new documentary called "The Boy With Bloody Tears" which will air on TLC in December. The documentary will explore the extremely rare condition and the search for its cause.

Also featured in "The Boy With Bloody Tears" is Rashida Begum who suffers from a similar condition which causes her to cry blood from her eyes.

Doctors have yet to determine the cause of this mysterious illness.
