Pirates of the Caribbean 4: First Look Gallery

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is the latest offering in the Pirates franchise. The fourth installment once again features Captain Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp, this time in search of the fabled Fountain of Youth.

On Stranger Tides introduces several new characters including the infamous pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), and his spirited daughter, Angelica, played by Penelope Cruz.

The basic plot is given in Disney's press release:
Captain Jack Sparrow crosses paths with a woman from his past, and he's not sure if it's love—or if she's a ruthless con artist who's using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Edward Teach, also known as Blackbeard, Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn't know whom to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.
