Amazing Images of Supercell Storm Clouds

These breathtaking photographs of a supercell storm were taken by amateur photographer Sean Heavey in Glasgow, Montana.

The massive storm clouds look like an alien mothership descending from the sky. The colors and textures are incredible. The 'Mothership' picture is a supercell storm that was around five to ten miles in diameter with hurling winds of around 85 mph.

In order to create such magnificent images, Sean stitched together photos from the hundreds of images he took of the storm.
