Hole Punch Clouds: Benign Weather Effect or Invisible Alien Invasion?
Hole punch clouds, or "fallstreak holes", are a strange weather phenomenon where a hole appears in a cloud. They are so-named because they look as if something "punched" through them. These cloud formations have baffled meteorologists since their first sighting. The precise cause is still undetermined, though scientists are closer to finding the answer.
The theory is that hole punch clouds are formed when an object passes through cirrocumulus or altocumulus cloud formations, causing a dissipation hole. When an object passes through clouds that are close to freezing, the disruption causes water vapor particles to freeze, setting off a chain reaction that produces the hole.
What "objects" cause these holes are a matter of speculation and conspiracy. Scientists believe they are caused by aircraft, while others believe meteors are to blame. Still others believe there is a more sinister reason - UFOs entering Earth's atmosphere.

Even volcanoes are getting into the act.

I'm not sure which explanation I believe, but if I ever see one these fallstreak holes over my house, I'll be heading down to the bomb shelter. I don’t know if you can be abducted through 3ft of reinforced concrete, but I'd rather not take any chances, especially when it comes to getting probed.
