Harajuku is a famous Japanese neighborhood and shopping district known for the outlandishly costumed teens and twentysomethings that shop and hangout in this area.

The Harajuku Girls are those who are dress in a range of fashion styles and may be members of various sub-cultures including Gothic, Lolita, Ganguro, Gyaru and Kogal. Costumes range from anime, movie or manga characters to one-of-a-kind outfits.
