Japan Attacks Pearl Harbor Pictures

On December 7, 1941, a day that will live in infamy, the Japanese navy attacked the US base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The Japanese attack force consisted of six aircraft carriers and 408 aircraft.

America's battleship force stationed in Pearl Harbor was dealt a massive blow. President Roosevelt declared war on Japan the following day and America was now fully drawn into World War 2.
